School House Properties’ COVID-19 Prevention Measures

We want to keep our guests informed of what measures we are taking during this time of heightened awareness of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) risk. Our School House B&B properties remain open to serve Rocheport’s overnight visitors. Since we take the health and safety of our guests and our staff seriously, we are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) statements regarding COVID-19 cases and following their guidelines as well as our state and county health department recommendations.

We have reviewed and implemented even more stringent cleaning and laundry procedures, including disinfecting hard surfaces, furniture and laundry with virucidal products including quick acting hydrogen peroxide disinfectant and bleach-based wipes for high-touch items such as remotes, keypads, doorknobs and light switches.

Hand sanitizer dispensers are accessible to guests in our public spaces and we ask that guests please disinfect their hands upon arrival.  We have also suspending shaking hands when we greet our guests.  In our Inn, we preferred to leave empty guest rooms open for guests to view, but for now, we are keeping cleaned guest rooms locked until a guest checks in to that specific room.

We send our thoughts and support to those who are directly affected by COVID-19 – we are all in this together.  Rocheport is very much a place to be on your own and avoid the crowds – and please remember small businesses need your support now more than ever.

  1. Our current reservation status as of April 15th is as posted on our availability system:
    RESERVATION AND AVAILABILITY UPDATE
Our availability calendar is current and real-time. In light of COVID-19 and Missouri’s current ‘Stay at Home’ order, dates through April 23rd will display ‘No Availability’. This means we are not taking any reservations for these dates to protect the health of our guests, staff, ourselves and our Rocheport community. April 24, 2020 through March 2021 dates are currently available to book online.

Thank you for your support during this challenging time!
